This role focuses on providing comprehensive support to K-12 students, ensuring their diverse psychological and communication needs are met effectively throughout the academic semester.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills; ability to manage a caseload of 60-65 students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Grand Island, NE
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Provide short-term counseling and interventions for students requiring emotional and behavioral support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments
- Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and communication strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
