Job Description
An opportunity is available for skilled professionals specializing in school psychology within an educational setting. This position is geared toward providing targeted psychological services to students on a part-time basis, specifically 1-2 days a month.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active school psychologist license or certification in Idaho
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location: Idaho Falls, ID
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide consultation services to teachers and school staff regarding student needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Offer short-term counseling and support to students and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance student well-being
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
