Job Description
In an engaging and dynamic K-12 educational environment, we are seeking professionals to provide specialized psychological services to students. This role is crucial in supporting the diverse needs of a predominantly middle school caseload for the 2025-2026 school year. The position is located near Irmo, SC, and is focused on delivering comprehensive assessments, interventions, and consultative services within the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Specialist degree in school psychology from a board-approved program
- Completion of supervised internships
- Successful passage of required exams
- At least two years of experience for Level III licensure
- Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location: Irmo, SC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs
- Design and deliver appropriate interventions and support services
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
