An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional skilled in providing psychological services within an elementary school setting. This full-time contract position is based in Joliet, IL, for the 2025-2026 school year, focusing on supporting the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in School Psychology
- Valid School Psychologist License in Illinois
- Experience working with elementary-age students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to implement and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Cultural competency and commitment to equity in education
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students' emotional and psychological needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
- Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness
- Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in psychological practice
- Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations
