Job Description
Seeking a dedicated professional to provide comprehensive psychological services within a K-12 school environment in Kent, WA. This contract position extends for the full school year, focusing on the academic and emotional well-being of students through assessment, intervention, and support.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with diverse student populations
Location:

Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
- Offer professional development workshops for staff on mental health topics
- Monitor and track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
