Job Description

This position is situated in Kyle, TX, within a K-12 school setting, and spans the full semester, allowing for in-depth evaluations and interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience working with K-12 students
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of various psychological disorders and interventions
• Previous experience with summer evaluations is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
• Provide psychological counseling and support tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams to discuss student progress and strategies
• Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health awareness
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations and interventions
• Provide guidance on special education processes and regulations
