A dynamic opportunity is available for dedicated professionals in the field of school psychology. This position focuses on providing essential psychological services within a K-12 educational environment, catering to a diverse student population.
Qualifications:
- Specialist degree in school psychology from a board-approved program
- Completed supervised internships in school psychology
- Proficient in administering and interpreting psychological assessments
- At least two years of experience for Level III licensure
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Location:
Laurens, SC
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services to students, addressing their educational and emotional needs
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students requiring psychological assessments
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource for teachers and staff regarding mental health and behavioral interventions
- Manage a K-12 caseload across two school sites, coordinating services effectively
