Job Description
A fulfilling opportunity exists for skilled professionals specializing in psychological services within educational settings. This contract position is situated in Middletown, DE, serving K-12 students and focusing on their diverse psychological needs from August 25, 2025, to June 12, 2026. Preferences for caseload age group will be considered.
Qualifications:
- Active Delaware School Psychologist Certification
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Middletown, DE
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and well-being
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide crisis management support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records
