Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or licensure
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of academic and behavioral interventions
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the school community
Location: Mishawaka, IN
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing a range of emotional and behavioral concerns
- Consult with teachers and staff to implement effective classroom strategies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
- Provide training and resources to parents and staff regarding mental health and wellness
