An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services within an elementary school setting. This full-time contract position is designed for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, targeting the unique needs of young students.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid School Psychologist License/Certification in Illinois
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to promoting student well-being and academic success

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop appropriate interventions for students
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide consultation services to educators and parents regarding student needs and progress
• Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training
