An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services within an elementary school setting. This full-time contract position is designed for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, targeting the unique needs of young students.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist License/Certification in Illinois
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to promoting student well-being and academic success
Location:
- Naperville, IL
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop appropriate interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide consultation services to educators and parents regarding student needs and progress
- Deliver professional development workshops for staff on mental health and wellness
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
