Exciting opportunity for skilled professionals specializing in educational support within K-12 environments. This position is located in New Haven, CT, and involves working with students in need of psychological services from August 2025 to June 2026.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or credential
- Experience working in K-12 settings
- Ability to conduct assessments and evaluations (60+ evaluations)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with special education processes and regulations
- Experience supporting diverse student populations
Location:
New Haven, CT
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and re-evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Assist students transitioning from birth to age 3, focusing on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Support community students aged 3-5 referred to special education services
- Manage a caseload of 90-105 students, ensuring timely and effective service delivery
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
