An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional seeking to impact students' well-being and educational success in a K-12 environment. This full-time position involves working closely with middle school students, providing essential psychological services and evaluations to support their diverse needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
- Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and policies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Location:
- North Tonawanda, NY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations for approximately 75-80 students per year
- Provide assessment and intervention services to support a caseload of 750 middle school students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored educational strategies
- Participate in district meetings and professional development as required
- Prepare and present evaluation reports and recommendations
- Support students' mental health and academic success through counseling and guidance
