Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated professional seeking to impact students' well-being and educational success in a K-12 environment. This full-time position involves working closely with middle school students, providing essential psychological services and evaluations to support their diverse needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Strong understanding of K-12 education systems and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Location:

  • North Tonawanda, NY

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations for approximately 75-80 students per year
  • Provide assessment and intervention services to support a caseload of 750 middle school students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored educational strategies
  • Participate in district meetings and professional development as required
  • Prepare and present evaluation reports and recommendations
  • Support students' mental health and academic success through counseling and guidance
