Qualifications:
- Valid PPS credential in School Psychology
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Experience working with middle school-aged children
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff
- Knowledge of IEPs and related education laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location: Oakland, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health
- Collaborate with educators to develop and implement intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP discussions
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff
- Offer professional development workshops for school staff on mental health topics
