This contract position runs for the full school year, allowing for meaningful engagement with students, staff, and the school community.
Qualifications:
- Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location: Olympia, WA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators
- Provide counseling and support services to students with various psychological needs
- Consult with teachers and staff regarding classroom management and strategies for supporting students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with families to ensure continuity of care and support outside of school
