Job Description
A skilled professional is sought for a part-time position in a K-12 educational setting in Penrose, CO. This role is crucial in providing psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation services to students from August 16th to June 4th.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology
- Active School Psychologist license in Colorado
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in crisis intervention and support
Location:
- Penrose, CO
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to determine student needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student emotional and psychological well-being.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students and staff as needed.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current in the field.
