Job Description
An opportunity is available for skilled professionals to provide essential psychological services in an educational setting. This role focuses on conducting evaluations and developing individualized education program (IEP) reports for K-12 students.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in conducting student evaluations and assessments
- Strong report writing skills and familiarity with IEP processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
Location: Portland, ME
Responsibilities:
- Complete 3-5 student evaluations as required
- Assess student needs and determine eligibility for special education services
- Develop and write comprehensive IEP reports based on evaluation findings
- Attend and present at first IEP meetings to support student transition and services
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to implement IEPs
