An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to provide psychological services within a K-12 school environment. This full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year seeks an individual who is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), ensuring effective communication and support for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure or certification in School Psychology.
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with special needs.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location:
Providence, RI

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Provide counseling and support services tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
  • Deliver training and resources to staff on behavior management and mental health awareness.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with regulations.
