A supportive educational environment seeks a dedicated professional to provide specialized psychological services to students. This role focuses on fostering the well-being and academic success of 7th to 12th-grade learners, including some transition students aged 18 to 21.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist license and PELSB certification
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in secondary education
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student growth and mental health
Location:
- Saint Paul, MN
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students psychological needs through observations, interviews, and standardized tests
- Provide counseling and support to students, helping them manage academic and emotional challenges
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop tailored intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
- Deliver training and resources to staff on mental health and wellness
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
