Job Description
Dedicated professionals are sought to provide essential psychological services within a K-12 school setting in Sanford, NC. This role is crucial in supporting the diverse needs of students through comprehensive assessments, interventions, and consultations.
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed through the state board as a School Psychologist.
- Hold a state-issued license specific to school psychology.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid NC education license.
- Clinical Psychologist license not applicable for this position.
Location:
- Sanford, NC (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Provide consultation services to teachers and school staff regarding student needs and interventions.
- Offer individual and group counseling to students, fostering emotional and psychological well-being.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
