A contract opportunity is available for experienced professionals to support K-12 students in Sinton, TX. This role entails providing essential psychological services within an educational setting, focusing on enhancing student well-being and academic performance through assessment, intervention, and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology
- Valid school psychologist license or certification
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
Location: Sinton, TX
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Provide short-term counseling and psychological interventions.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide support during emergencies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development.
- Collect and analyze data to inform instructional practices and interventions.
