Job Description
A dedicated and skilled professional is sought for a full-time School Psychologist role in a K-12 educational setting located in South Bend, IN, for the 2025-2026 school year. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' well-being and academic success from August 13, 2025, to May 27, 2026.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
Location: South Bend, IN
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide counseling and support services to students with emotional and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with school staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
- Serve as a liaison between the school and external mental health services
- Monitor and analyze student progress and adjust interventions as needed
