Job Description
A school psychologist opportunity is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year at multiple K-12 schools in close proximity within Sparta, GA. This contract position offers a mix of evaluation, testing, report writing, and participation in eligibility meetings to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Write detailed reports based on testing and observations
- Participate in eligibility and planning meetings with educators and staff
- Collaborate effectively with school staff to support student learning and wellbeing
- Manage a caseload across multiple nearby school locations, all on-site
Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist License in the state of Georgia
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams
Position Details:
- Contract runs from July 28th through the end of the school year
- Options for full-time or part-time schedules
- On-site work across multiple schools within close proximity
- Caseload includes K-12 students
