Job Description
Based in Spartanburg, SC, this position is for two dedicated professionals who will serve students across K-12th grades. The role involves providing essential psychological services and support to enhance student learning and well-being within the school environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Location:
- Spartanburg, SC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support student interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies
