Qualifications:
- Doctoral or Masters degree in School Psychology.
- Valid state license or certification in School Psychology.
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists.
- Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teaching staff.
- Provide counseling and support services tailored to student needs.
- Consult with educators and school staff regarding mental health and educational strategies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a holistic approach to student care.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide guidance during challenging situations.
- Conduct professional development workshops for staff on mental health topics.
