Position: School Psychologist Location: Fletcher, NC Job Duration: CSY | Part-Time
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to provide valuable services in a telehealth capacity for a 1st-grade student in Fletcher, NC. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting student well-being and academic success through psychological assessment and intervention. The position entails working remotely, allowing for flexibility while making a significant impact on a young learner's life. This contract will begin ASAP and conclude on June 6, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for 1st-grade students.
- Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide insights and recommendations based on assessment findings to support student needs.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to engage with students and families, ensuring accessible mental health services.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and psychological standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in psychology or higher.
- Licensed school psychologist in North Carolina, with valid credentials.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in a virtual setting.
