Job Description
An opportunity exists for skilled professionals to provide essential psychological services in an elementary school setting. This full-semester contract position in Tucson, AZ, calls for two school psychologists, one of whom should be bilingual, to support the diverse needs of students from July 21 to May 29.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid school psychologist certification or license in Arizona
- Experience working with elementary-aged students
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and staff
Location:
- Tucson, Arizona
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
- Provide counseling and support services tailored to students needs
- Offer training and resources to school staff regarding mental health and wellness
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate school hours and needs
