Job Description

Dynamic opportunity for experienced School Psychologists to support elementary students in a vibrant educational environment. This position is based in Vancouver, WA, where you will work directly with a diverse caseload of 445 students across two school buildings. Your role will focus on providing essential psychological services and interventions to students, ensuring their academic and emotional well-being during the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state license or certification in School Psychology
  • Experience working in elementary schools preferred
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to supporting student success and mental health

Location: Vancouver, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents
  • Provide direct counseling services to students and support their emotional needs
  • Consult with educators and staff on mental health strategies and interventions
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment
  • Address crisis situations and provide intervention as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided
