Job Description
A school located in West Columbia, SC, is seeking a dedicated professional to provide essential psychological services to students in a K-12 environment. This in-person role requires a minimum commitment of 3.5 days per week, starting in the last week of July and continuing through the last week of May.
Qualifications:
- State-issued license in School Psychology
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Valid education license in South Carolina
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in special education
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
Location: West Columbia, SC
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents
- Provide consultation services to teachers and staff regarding student needs
- Offer direct counseling and support to students and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development
