Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., NIC, EIPA, or similar)
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) with advanced interpretation skills
• Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and students
• Cultural competence and understanding of the Deaf community

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring access to the curriculum
• Collaborate with educators to support instructional goals and adapt materials as needed
