Qualifications:

• Preferred EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and other sign language systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and staff

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing during classroom instruction and school activities
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure effective communication and accessibility for students
• Adapt interpretation techniques to meet the varying needs of students
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress
