• Valid certification as a Sign Language Interpreter in Florida
• Experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students
• Strong collaborative skills to work with both onsite and virtual interpreters

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of educational standards and practices related to deaf and hard of hearing students

Location:

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services for two students, aged 5 and 14, ensuring effective communication in the classroom
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance students learning experiences
• Participate in meetings and professional development to further skills and strategies
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided, as required by the school
• Support a positive and inclusive environment for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
