An opportunity is available for skilled professionals specializing in communication access services within a K-12 educational environment. This contract position is based in Sartell, MN, where you will provide vital support to students who are Deaf or hard of hearing through the use of sign language interpretation.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., NIC, RID).
- Strong proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) and other sign language systems.
- Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational staff, students, and families.
- Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services for students who are Deaf or hard of hearing in classroom settings.
