Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear and accurate interpretation of spoken language into sign language for a student during virtual classes.
• Ensure that all educational content is conveyed appropriately, considering the individual learning needs of the student.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive environment for the student.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Adhere to the schools schedule, providing interpretation services from Monday to Thursday.
• Remain updated on best practices and any relevant changes in sign language interpretation standards.

Qualifications:

• Certified Sign Language Interpreter with a valid Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate (ICEC) in Montana.
• Proven experience interpreting in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with students.
• Proficient in using virtual platforms for remote interpretation.
