An opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist with a focus on K-12 students. This role is set in Albany, OR, within a supportive school environment that values student growth and communication development.
Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience working in K-12 settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations regarding speech and language services
- Proficient in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders
Location:
- Albany, Oregon
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Manage and maintain accurate records of student performance and IEP documentation
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to a collaborative educational environment
