Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with K-12 students, addressing diverse communication needs
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as necessary
- Provide direct therapy services and facilitate student participation in communication
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
