Job Description
A contract position is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a focus on K-12 education. This role is poised for the upcoming school year and is located in Arvada, CO, within a dynamic school environment that values collaboration and student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in K-12 settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Proficiency in evaluating and treating diverse speech and language needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language intervention
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
