Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred, though not required
- Strong understanding of school-based speech therapy practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech therapy
- Provide direct therapy services to students with various speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students' overall communication goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide insights on students' needs
- Develop and implement group and individual therapy sessions tailored to diverse student populations
