Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Supervisory experience or willingness to oversee a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Brainerd, MN
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement IEPs
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress
- Supervise and mentor a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant as part of the role
