An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled professional with a focus on the educational setting. This position is based in Brooklyn, NY, within a K-12 school environment, and is designed to support students across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with measurable goals.
- Provide direct and indirect services through ten 30-minute sessions daily, totaling 50 sessions per week.
- Collaborate with a team of five other Speech-Language Pathologists and report to the PPS Coordinator.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and participate in relevant meetings.
Qualifications:
- Must have the TSSLD certification
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active New York State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with school-age children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation is preferred.
