Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with PreK-5th grade students
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborative mindset to work with educational staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop tailored therapy plans for students
- Maintain a full-time caseload, serving students from PreK through 5th grade
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students communication needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field
