Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Previous experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Knowledge of current speech and language assessment tools and techniques
Location:
- Carrollton, GA, serving various K-12 school sites
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, providing direct services and monitoring progress
- Conduct regular meetings to discuss student progress and adjust IEP goals as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress
