Seeking a skilled professional to provide essential services in a K-12 educational setting located in Castle Rock, CO. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication needs for the entire school year.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of educational policies and practices related to speech and language
Location: Castle Rock, CO
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
- Provide direct speech and language services in one-on-one and group settings
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation as required
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and reviews
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in the field of speech-language pathology
