An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide vital speech-language services in an engaging middle school environment. This contract position is set for the full semester, allowing for meaningful interactions and support to students aged 9th to 12th grade.
Location: Chandler, AZ
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for a diverse caseload of 40-50 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance students communication skills.
- Provide supervision and guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation.
- Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for support.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with middle and high school students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficient in developing IEPs and understanding of special education regulations.
