Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Virginia
- CCC-SLP certification preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
- Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient in developing IEPs and implementing therapy plans
Location:
- Chesapeake, VA
- Educational settings include Princess Anne High School and Pembroke Elementary School
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language goals within the classroom
- Conduct therapy sessions and monitor student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development and needs
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
