A skilled candidate is needed to provide essential support in a K-12 educational setting in Chicago, IL. This role focuses on fostering language development for students across various grade levels.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in K-12 settings, particularly with preschool and middle school students
- Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong data collection and analysis skills related to student IEP goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with IEP teams and parents
Location:
- Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Support the language development of approximately 30 students across the Early Learning Center and Middle School
- Create and implement tailored IEPs to address individual student needs
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress on IEP goals
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and prepare necessary reports
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
