An engaging opportunity awaits for specialists within a dynamic educational environment. This contract position is situated in Chicago, IL, focusing on providing essential services to K-12 students during the extended school year. Orientation for the extended school year is held on June 9 from 8am-3pm. The extended school year will run June 10th through July 1st. Hours are 8:00 am to 2:45 pm, except for the last day.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school settings
- Proficiency in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and parents

Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective communication and support for students.
- Conduct progress meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities as available.
