An opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional to contribute to a dynamic educational setting in Chicago, IL. This full-time position focuses on serving a severe/profound caseload within a behavioral school, catering to middle and high school-aged students for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA CCCs (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Experience in teletherapy is a plus
  • Previous work in school settings, particularly with diverse populations, preferred

Location: Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students with communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
