An opportunity exists for a skilled professional to provide specialized support in a high school setting, focusing on students with diverse learning disabilities. This role is designed for the full semester, requiring a dedicated presence to enhance the educational experiences of 25 students.
Location: Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored services to students with varying learning needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments and monitor progress to ensure effective intervention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student performances and uphold documentation requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in SLP or a related field.
- Certification (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with high school students, particularly those with learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently within a flexible schedule.
