Qualifications:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC).
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school or healthcare setting.
- Proficient in the use of AAC devices, including EyeGaze and LAMP.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus.
Location: Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of up to 60 students, ensuring that therapy sessions are tailored to their individual needs.
- Assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for students requiring speech and language support.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to implement IEP goals and facilitate effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support for students using AAC devices to enhance their communication skills.
