Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly those with autism, developmental delays, and speech disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of students and the school schedule
Location: Chicago Ridge, IL
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and assessment for students needing speech and language services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to a caseload of approximately 30 students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students overall development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy progress and student outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
